This work presents the improvements in the fracturing efficiency by using the DSI (dipolar Sonic Imager) log whose data have been used with great success to characterize the mechanical properties of the formations of the Campos of the North of Monagas and in studies of pseudo three-dimensional hydraulic fracturing models (P3D).
