This work reviews some of the challenges and controls normally encountered by KOC during work in high H2S prone area, in particular those related to producing Jurassic reservoirs in Kuwait fields, which are deep, high pressure high temperature (HPHT) containing sour volatile oil / condensate and gas. H2S concentration in these fields ranges from 0.5 % to around 8%.
